what will be the class with you next semester:
1) The focus will be applying some of your research in  porcelain at cone 9 and 14.  (dah)

2) i want you to show 2 images of that work and a brief presentation of your aims and direction. (pas de problème...y aka consulter mon blôg)

 3)We will do a field trip at Louise Bousquet in February to apply some surface treatments on her translucent porcelain. "Rebelle aux mondanités, femme de la terre (son mari est agriculteur), Louise Bousquet est depuis bientôt 30 ans créatrice sur porcelaine à Saint-Jean-Baptiste, petit village de la vallée du Richelieu. Son affaire artisanale va bien, très bien même. Chaque année, elle fait un triomphe au Salon des métiers d'art où elle présente, sur un stand épuré et rigoureux, des objets faits main qui embellissent notre quotidien par la simplicité de leur forme et l'efficacité de leur fonction. Ils vont au lave-vaisselle, au four traditionnel .....in Décormag..)ouin......

4)We will have also visiting artist Justin Novak Jan 29-31 and will do a project based on his workshop. please see internet to know about his work. http://www.justinnovak.com/

in correspondance to community and the greenhouse and substainibility at Concordia.

5) Also very important , this year Concordia Advanced class is invited to be part of CERA MYSTIC, 2 1/2 week exhibition and sale organised by ceramist Jacques Marsot. see- also internet-.( n'ai pas trouvé le site de Marsot .CA)

details will be given at the first class and work will be selected for that event where you will have the opportunity to be part of a professional show and be introduced to marketing of your work being functional and sculptural. (Marketter mes chats dansant?! jamais!!!ils tiennent même pas debout)

MmeChabot ajoute  qu'elle va apprendre l'art du lithophane à Limoges et elle aimerait nous en causer. On retrouve  un article de Mme Carney dans  le Ceramics Monthly d'octobre 2007 à ce sujet

Bon les adresses  sont de moi ainsi que le choix de photos.  Un père Noêl lithophané , ce n'est pas rien. Est-ce que les pères Noel dansent avec des chats? Peut-être que mes chats seraient plus convenables s' ils étaient "linophanés"? en tous les cas, ils prendraient moins de place c'est certain. Je m'apprête ce matin à les ranger : ils m'énervent déjà:)
